چکیده
Introduction/Background The aim of this study is to evaluate the accuracy three-dimensional transvaginal ultrasound (3D-TVS) for diagnosis uterine mullerian anomalies (UMA), using surgery as reference standard. Methodology A search was performed in PubMed/MEDLINE, CINAHL, Scopus, Cochrane and Web Science databases (January 1990 December 2021) studies evaluating diagnostic performance 3D-TVS detecting UMA, endoscopic findings test. Quality Assessment Diagnostic Accuracy Studies-2 (QUADAS-2) tool used quality studies. Pooled sensitivity, specificity, positive negative likelihood ratio were calculated all types separately septate bicornuate uterus, specifically. Arcuate uterus considered normal. Post-test probability UMA following a or test determined. Results identified 297 citations after excluding duplicates. After further exclusions, fourteen ultimately included qualitative quantitative syntheses, comprising 1776 women. Fourteen analyzed presence any type seven by subgroups (septate and/orbicornuate uterus). mean prevalence 47% (range: 1%-97%). Overall, pooled ratios are shown table 1. Heterogeneity high. According QUADAS-2 tool, most high risk bias patient selection, low index standard unclear flow/timing. Conclusion Our results confirm diagnosing anomalies. These data support role technique gold these

Prevalence of Congenital Anomalies in Iran: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis
Background: Congenital anomaly is a disturbance in fetal growth and development during pregnancy and is one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in the first year of life. In addition, this anomaly causes a large waste of heath care resources. We aimed to determine the prevalence and proportion rates of different congenital anomalies in Iran via a systematic review and meta-analysis.Me...
متن کاملThree-dimensional transvaginal ultrasound: clinical implementation in assessing uterine cavity
Background: Three-dimensional transvaginal ultrasonography (3D TVS) represents a new technique of imaging and provides a unique diagnostic tool for non-invasive examination of the uterine morphology and diagnosis of congenital uterine anomalies. In this study the clinical value of 3D TVS in diagnosis of uterine cavity abnormalities were evaluated. Methods: A prospective of diagnostic accuracy s...
متن کاملDiagnostic Accuracy of Monofilament Tests for Detecting Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Objective To systematically evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of monofilament tests for detecting diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods We searched EMBASE (OvidSP), MEDLINE (OvidSP), the Cochrane Library, and Web of Science to identify diagnostic accuracy trials of monofilament tests for detecting diabetic peripheral neuropathy. We used a hierarchical summary receiver operating characteristi...
متن کاملDiagnostic accuracy of radiographs for detecting supraglottitis: a systematic review and meta‐analysis
Aim To assess the diagnostic performance of lateral radiograph of the neck for supraglottitis in adults and children. Methods Electronic database searches (including PubMed, EMBASE, CINAHL, Web of Science, and WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform) were carried out through July 2014. Citations of included studies and recent narrative reviews were searched. Studies that compared ...
متن کاملDiagnostic accuracy of non-radiologist performed ultrasound for abdominal aortic aneurysm: systematic review and meta-analysis.
BACKGROUND Ultrasonography is increasingly used by clinicians to identify abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing the accuracy of non-radiologist performed ultrasound (NRPUS) for AAA disease to the 'gold standard' of radiologist performed aortic imaging (RPI), intra-operative findings or postmortem findings. METHODS Cochrane Library, MEDL...
